Who can use EasyCheck-in Online and mobile check-in?

You may use EasyCheck-in Online® for all United flights worldwide if you:

  • Have an E-Ticket® for your reservation;
  • Are a Mileage Plus® member with a united.com password; or have the confirmation number and last name of the customer traveling; or have the credit card number used to purchase the ticket and the last name of the customer traveling;
  • Are traveling within the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and checking in between 45 minutes and 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure;
  • Are traveling internationally, and checking in between 1 and 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure.
Note: The first flight in your itinerary must be operated by United® or United Express®, and connecting flights may be operated by any carrier.

You may use mobile check-in for your flight if you:
  • Have an E-Ticket for your reservation;
  • Are a Mileage Plus member with a united.com password; or have the confirmation number and last name of the customer traveling; or have the E-Ticket number and the last name of the customer traveling; or have the email address and password of the customer traveling;
  • Are checking in for a flight within the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Please note: Mobile check-in is not currently available for international itineraries;
  • Are checking in between 45 minutes and 24 hours prior to your scheduled departure.
Note: The first flight in your itinerary must be operated by United or United Express, and connecting flights may be operated by any carrier.
